Lead or Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Lead or Senior Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to a diverse portfolio of AI projects. This role also includes a key responsibility for driving the AI competence development in the company.

• Lead end-to-end AI product development — from understanding business needs and defining the product vision to selecting the right architecture and implementing advanced AI solutions

• Design and develop cutting-edge AI models, with a focus on LLMs, AI agents, and image recognition technologies

• Shape the AI architecture by contributing to the overall technical vision and strategy of the solution

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and distributed development teams

• (optional) Support pre-sales activities as an AI expert, including the preparation of technical solution proposals

• Degree (bachelor or master) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a comparable course of study

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and AI development

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience in building custom AI/ML models

• Deep expertise in working with LLMs/SLMs, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and model selection based on business and technical criteria

• Experience with at least one of the following:
  
  • building forecasting models
  • building scoring models
  • building models for image recognition

• Proficiency with AI-focused services in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)  

• Solid understanding of deploying AI models into production environments  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders  

• Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a drive for results  

• English: upper-intermediate / advanced
