Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Our customer is a European startup which is building a compliance platform for AI teams preparing for the EU AI Act and beyond. The product is designed for startups and enterprises building with AI, and its goal is making it easy to identify risks related to EU AI Act implementation and stay audit-ready.

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js/TypeScript to join the cross-functional team working on the development of a the product.

You’ll be working on an ambitious, technically challenging project using a modern technological stack. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a startup-like environment, enjoys autonomy, and wants to shape the direction of a product from day one.

• Participate in end-to-end product development: from design and architecture to implementation and improvement

• Collaborate with CTO and Tech Lead to help define the technical vision and roadmap

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

• Work closely with a distributed engineering team in a dynamic, startup environment

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 6+ years of experience within software engineering

• Strong expertise in Node.js/TypeScript

• Experience with Nest.js

• Knowledge of REST & GraphQL API design

• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native equivalents).

• Experience working relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or ElasticSearch) for logs/telemetry

• Familiarity with containerization tools, especially Docker and Kubernetes

• Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)

• Capability and readiness to do front-end tasks (React)

• Knowledge of unit testing techniques and frameworks 

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS systems (RBAC, workspaces/projects, billing hooks)

• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• High standards for code quality, performance, security, and user experience

• English proficiency at an Intermediate+ level
