Senior Test Engineer

Our customer is the US-based climate-tech startup. The product is aimed on making the process of lightning strike risk assessment as smooth as possible both for domain experts and people with little domain background. The product covers data gathering, risk assessment calculation and customer report generation utilising AI algorithms.

The project is focused on building a web application for different audiences.

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer experienced in web application testing to join existing development team. We are looking for the person who can cover both manual testing and building automated tests on API level first, further extending them to end-to-end automated scenarios.  

• Together with another test engineer in the team, adjust and improve existing test processes

• Perform ongoing manual functional testing

• Build test automation on API and UI levels  

• Perform bug tracking and reporting 

• Prepare test documentation and present progress reports to stakeholders 

• Conduct sprint demo sessions each sprint

• Cooperate with PM and development team  

• At least 6+ year experience within software testing 

• Experience of doing overall QA & Testing on project (manual & automated)

• Experience with web applications testing (both backend and front-end)

• Extensive experience with API and integration testing  

• Deep understanding of core testing processes 

• Experience in test planning and estimation 

• Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process 

• Experience in creating test cases, test design 

• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with stakeholders on multiple levels 

• Action and quality-oriented

• Responsible and loyal, team player

• English: upper-intermediate / advanced

• Experience of work the distributed, cross-culture Agile environment  

• Experience with Playwright or any other automation framework

• ISTQB certification
