Technical Business Analyst

Our Customer is US-based startup developing an innovative platform for agricultural insurance and finance. The core of the platform is a data management solution which should integrate and harmonize data from several data sources, as well as build the basis for risk modeling.

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will transform high-level business requirements into user stories for the engineering team. The qualified candidate will work closely with the Product Manager on Customer’s side and distributed development team. The product is based on large number of integrations with various data sources, so we expect Technical Business Analyst to have technical knowledge working with different data sources and structures.

• Work closely with stakeholders to identify their needs and gather detailed requirements

• Together with subject matter expert, analyze agricultural data from various data sources to identify parameters for risk scoring modeling

• Prioritize, and define product requirements, vision, strategy, and roadmap

• Prepare and maintain various documents such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows

• Act as a mediator between business users and technical teams to ensure clear understanding and effective communication

• Create customer journeys based on the business processes and user needs

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure product goals are achieved

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further improvements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst  

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques

• Experience with Agile software development processes

• Proven expertise in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with a strong track record in initiating new project, navigating uncertainty and driving strategic insights

• Experience of managing product requirements

• Strong documentation skills for user stories, use cases, and workflows

• Expertise in defining and managing solution scope, managing dependencies, and resolving conflicts in requirements

• Familiar with different data sources and data structures

• Knowledge of UML, Use Case diagrams, and User Flows.

• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels  

• English: advanced (speaking and writing)
