Tinky is a Sweden-based educational platform made to enhance efficiency and quality in early childhood education.
Developed by Tiny Minds Lab, the platform combines organizational tools with educational content. It aims to help teachers plan, track, and communicate more effectively with parents while reducing administrative workload and maintaining compliance with national standards.
In 2025, HBM joined as a strategic technology partner to accelerate Tinky’s development and scale its operations.
Our team was responsible for upgrading an existing Teachers App and building a new mobile app from the ground up.
This resulted in a comprehensive, user-friendly system that empowers educators, engages families, and supports children’s development.
· Helped the founders plan and structure product releases based on their roadmap, ensuring a smooth and predictable delivery process.
· Designed the architecture for the new mobile app and defined a technical evolution roadmap for the existing one, ensuring long- term scalability and maintainability.
· Introduced structured QA and testing processes, establishing reliable validation workflows for performance and stability.
· Enhanced the Teachers App with upgraded functionality, smoother UX, and seamless integration with the Parents App.
· Built the Parents App from scratch, enabling real-time communication, attendance tracking, and child activity monitoring.
· Launched both apps on the App Store and Google Play within six months, meeting all milestones and quality benchmarks.

Tiny Minds Lab aimed to accelerate the development and enhancement of its educational platform to meet growing demand from preschools.
The company needed a reliable, high-performing tech team capable of improving an existing product and developing a new one simultaneously.
The key challenges included:
1. A capable development team had to be assembled on short notice to meet tight delivery deadlines.
2. The Teachers App required significant improvements and seamless integration with new features without disrupting active users.
3. Both apps needed a modern, user-friendly interface optimized for teachers, parents, and preschool operations.
4. The Parents App had to be built from scratch with well-defined features, scalability, and reliable performance.
5. Each release had to undergo rigorous validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and security.
6. The project had to be executed within strict timelines and budget limits while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
“HBM has demonstrated great responsiveness from the very beginning and has repeatedly exceeded our expectations in terms of problem-solving, flexibility, and punctual deliveries.
Together with HBM, we’ve managed to build a team with the highest level of technical competence and communication skills, giving us invaluable security as a start-up with big visions.
We look forward to continuing this journey with these amazing people behind the machines.”
